The Trip to Blue Ridge
We purchased the cabin in June of 2006. Unlike a traditional cabin, Yes Deer is a “round” cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths including a down stairs sitting room. The cabin is located on 2 acres and has a hot tube for those cool mountain nights.
There are lots of activities in and around
Blue Ridge, including The Blue Ridge
Railroad,
rafting on the river, and boating on Lake Blue Ridge! Or maybe just sitting on the
porch enjoying the quiet and catching up on your reading.
The trip to Blue Ridge can be exciting. Once you leave I-75 and I-575 you enter Jasper, then Elijay, before getting to Blue Ridge. Jasper is the marble capital and Elijay is the apple capital. The trip in fall is filled with local festivals and beautiful colors during the drive.
“Yes Deer” is a family cabin located in Blue Ridge, GA just 90 minutes from
Atlanta
and 20 minutes from Tennessee in the foot hills of the Smokey Mountains!
